The Gaze

Her hasty gait dictated

by the sound of howling;

Her limbs clenched

by the reckless giggling;

Her body exposed

by the suggestive smirk.

It seizes control

of how we walk;

It imposes instructions

on how we posture;

The gaze leaves traces.
